This is Korean traditional spirits originated from Andong province.
Myeongin Andong Soju has 500 years of history, and brewed by the ‘Grand Master No. 6’ Park, Jae-Seo, is one of Top 3 Korean Myeongju (Well-known Liquor). This is what real traditional soju is, which Korea is well-known for. It's brewed from 100% Korean rice, nuruk (Korean fermentation starter which is also made from all Korean rice), and water only.
Even with high ABV of 45%, its very smooth on your throat with clean after taste, just as how well distilled premium liquor should be.
Recommends to drink about 2~3 shots during the meal for healthier drinking habits. Enjoy slowly.
Nice with Taiwanese, Japanese cuisine as well as Korean.
Enjoy straight, on the rock, mix with warm water for greater flavor, and goes nicely with any cocktail recipes.
*Little background about Myeongin Andong Soju
Andong province's soju is very well-known in Korea. Because of its popularity, there's lots of soju named andong soju in Korea, but only 2 Andong soju is proven by the country as traditional original Andongsoju. The Myeongin Andongsoju is the one, and the other one is Minsokju Andongsoju. These two andongsoju breweries are lot smaller than other soju companies, because these two places are ran by the national Grand Masters and they dedicate their life to offering the traditional authentic premium soju with the recipe that has been with their family for min. 500 years. Myeongin Andongsoju upgraded their recipe for stability in mass production.
Myeingin Andongsoju uses Yicheon rice (Korea’s no.1 rice) and natural bedrock[aquifer] water from subsurface 270m.
