*Little background of BSM Brewery
Bae Sang Myun Brewery (aka BSM Brewery) was named after Bae Sang Myun, the founder of Kooksoondang Brewery. The founder of BSM Brewery is the youngest son of Bae Sang Myun. Mr. Bae Sang Myun dedicated his life to bring back the market of Korean traditional liquor, which was destroyed during Japanese colonization. He patented the 'nuruk (traditional fermentation starter)' by using raw rice method he found on old literature (Most of traditional nuruk is made from steamed rice) for cleaner after taste and stronger aroma. Bae Sang Myun opened new market of traditional liquor and marked milestone in Korean liquor history. Bae, Yongho resigned the director position from Kooksoondang and opened his own Brewery company with his knowledge and experience he learned from his father and from the company. BSM dedicates it's principle in Korean heritage and collaborating with tradition, people, and the nature. They are stubborn about using the Korean products, and harmonizing with local farmers. Araq is BSM's distilled liquor aka Soju lines which collaborates with different local brewery and using the regional special farm products and it's local water and rice not to only offer the united taste but also giving local region the business they can be pride of.
